August 28, 2025<\/strong>the Rector of the Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi<\/strong>was invited to visit the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII)<\/strong> in order to establishing academic ties<\/strong> and to open a path of collaboration with an institution with a solid international trajectory.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1945<\/strong>the UII is Indonesia's first university<\/strong>This fact gives this meeting a special historical and academic value within the university panorama of the country and the Islamic world.<\/p>\n

Academic dialogue and international experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n

During the visit, meetings were held with academic and international relations managers to learn firsthand about the UII's experience in the field. international cooperation and mobility programs<\/strong>including collaborations with European universities through initiatives such as Erasmus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This background was one of the central aspects of the dialogue, providing an already consolidated framework for the academic exchange<\/strong> and the construction of shared projects. Discussions focused on exploring formulas for collaboration that would benefit both students and faculty<\/strong>from different but complementary cultural contexts.<\/p>\n

H<\/strong>ation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As a result of this first approach, both institutions agreed to begin work on the development of a possible Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> that lays the foundations for a stable medium- and long-term partnership.<\/p>\n

The experience <\/strong>UII international<\/strong> and the Al-Andalusia's European vocation<\/strong> were identified as key elements for building a solid academic relationship, with potential for the development of joint projects and future training initiatives.<\/p>\n

A meeting with historical weight and future projection<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Visiting Indonesia's first university is not only an institutional gesture, it is also a meeting full of historical significance<\/strong>. To initiate this dialogue is to build a bridge between two different educational realities, united by a commitment to knowledge, training and academic cooperation.<\/p>\n

This first step with the Universitas Islam Indonesia<\/strong> opens a promising avenue of work, in which the accumulated experience and shared will mark the beginning of a relationship that is destined to grow over time and bear fruit for both university communities.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
