During his institutional agenda in Malaysia, the Rector of the Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi<\/strong>visited the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP)<\/em>one of the leading religious and educational institutions in the country.<\/p>\n

The meeting provided an opportunity to learn first-hand about the work that MAIWP develops in the educational field and to discuss possible areas of collaboration, both with the college<\/em> The institution is currently managing as well as with its future university project, within the framework of its academic growth strategy.<\/p>\n

The Rector of Al-Andalusia was received by the Dr. Kamarulzaman<\/strong>The President of MAIWP, who showed special interest in the university model that Al-Andalusia is developing in the European context and its balanced approach between academic, spiritual and social training.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the visit was the dialogue around the Islamic astronomy<\/strong>Dr. Kamarulzaman is a renowned figure in this field. This conversation naturally connected with one of the strategic lines that Al-Andalusia plans to promote in the future, related to astronomical observation, the Islamic calendar and the recovery of traditional sciences in a contemporary academic framework.<\/p>\n
