The Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain<\/strong> participated last December 6 in an Umrah organized by Islamic Relief<\/strong>The event was attended by several students from our university community, many of whom are also involved in the humanitarian work of this organization.<\/p>\n

This experience was particularly significant in that it brought together, in the same space, the academic formation, social commitment and spiritual experience<\/strong>. In this context, the Rector and professor of the University, Sh. Mohammad Idrissi Alcaraz<\/strong>accompanied the group as guide<\/strong>playing a role of both academic and spiritual reference throughout the journey.<\/p>\n

The itinerary began in the city of Medina<\/strong>where the participants visited some of the most representative sites of the Islamic tradition, including Masjid Quba<\/strong>, Uhud<\/strong> and other sites linked to the life of the Prophet \ufdfa. These visits allowed to deepen historical and spiritual knowledge, favoring spaces for reflection and shared learning.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, the group moved on to Makkah<\/strong>The Umrah was held there, culminating a journey marked by coexistence, dedication to worship and awareness of the formative value of this type of experience.<\/p>\n

From the Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, we value positively the collaboration with Islamic Relief and the active participation of our students in initiatives that integrate the following aspects education, service and spirituality<\/strong>The program is a fundamental element of our academic project.<\/p>\n

We pray to Allah to accept this Umrah and grant benefit and growth to all participants.<\/p>\n
