Atlanta (USA), December 19-21, 2025 - Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain participated last week in the ICNA South East Convention, held in the city of Atlanta, one of the most relevant Islamic meetings in the region. The University was represented by Professor Amina Rodriguez, who was part of the academic program of the event, reaffirming the presence of Al-Andalusia in international spaces of reflection and Islamic education. During the convention, Professor Amina gave a lecture entitled "An Identity Based on the Quran and Sunnah: Strengthening our Faith", a profound reflection on the construction of the Islamic identity. The Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia participated last December 6 in an Umrah organized by Islamic Relief, in which several students from our university community took part, many of them also linked to the humanitarian work of this organization. This experience had a particularly significant character as it united, in the same space, academic training, social commitment and spiritual experience.
