Al-Andalusia Islamic University of Spain is looking for a person in charge of Marketing, Social Media and Audiovisuals to strengthen the University's public presence, improve its digital communication and produce quality visual and audiovisual content.

The selected person will play a key role in disseminating the educational, religious, cultural and social mission of the University, helping to communicate its academic programs, activities, events, campaigns, institutional projects, university campus and training content.

This is a particularly important position in the current phase of growth of the University, in which it is necessary to professionalize communication, increase institutional visibility, take care of the public image and generate constant content for social networks, website, campaigns and audiovisual materials.


Profile required

We are looking for a creative, organized, responsible and institutionally sensitive person, capable of communicating in an attractive way the mission of an Islamic university in Spain and in the Spanish-speaking world.

Must have the ability to transform ideas, events, classes, projects and institutional messages into quality visual and audiovisual content, always maintaining a professional tone, respectful and consistent with the values of the University.

Main functions

  • Manage and update the social networks of the University and its related projects.
  • Plan content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Create publications, reels, short videos, stories, carousels and graphic pieces.
  • Record and edit videos of classes, events, interviews, testimonials, institutional visits and campaigns.
  • Design basic visual materials for networks, web, presentations, advertisements and campaigns.
  • Support the creation of campaigns to attract students, donors, collaborators and the general public.
  • Coordinate the publication and content calendar.
  • Adapt institutional messages to short, clear and attractive formats for social networks.
  • Cover University in-person events through photography, video and networking content.
  • Organize and archive the institution's audiovisual material.
  • Propose creative ideas to improve the University's public communication.
  • Coordinate with the Rector's Office, Secretary's Office, Academic Coordination and other areas to obtain information and transform it into publishable content.
  • Maintain a visual image consistent with the University's institutional identity.
  • Support in updating website content, when necessary.
  • Basic analysis of the performance of publications, campaigns and social networks.

Requirements

  • Experience or training in digital marketing, communication, social media, design, photography, video or audiovisual production.
  • Good handling of social networks and understanding of their formats.
  • Ability to record and edit videos.
  • Ability to create basic layouts for publications, posters, carousels and campaigns.
  • Good writing in Spanish.
  • Visual criteria and aesthetic sense.
  • Organization to plan content and meet publication schedules.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take direction.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the University.
  • Availability to attend recordings, events or activities in Seville when necessary.

The following will be valued

  • Knowledge of tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom or similar.
  • Previous experience managing institutional, educational, religious, cultural or non-profit social networks.
  • Knowledge of photography and recording with camera, cell phone, microphones and basic lighting.
  • Experience in editing reels, short videos, interviews and educational content.
  • Knowledge of marketing for alumni, donor or community recruitment.
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other web platforms.
  • Knowledge of English and/or Arabic.
  • Familiarity with the Islamic, educational and cultural context of Al-Andalus.
  • Ability to work with an elegant, sober and institutional visual identity.
  • Experience in fundraising campaigns, events or educational communication.
